Security Deposit and Rental Assistance
Emergency Homeless Prevention Assistance provides short term assistance to prevent homelessness or reduce the risk of becoming homeless by providing assistance with past due rent, utility bills, first month rent, and utility/security deposits as funds are available. Eligibility is determined based upon program funding criteria. Various funding sources to assist with homeless prevention include: Emergency Food and Shelter Program (EFSP), Emergency Shelter Program (ESG), Tenant Based Rental Assistance (TBRA), and locally donated funds.
County Advisory Boards also attempt to raise funds to assist those in need.
